Douglas W. Baxley

was born in Durham, North Carolina, July 6, 1946. Before attending law school Mr. Baxley served as an officer in the United States Air Force, and was honorably discharged as a Captain. Mr. Baxley has been a member of the Brunswick County, North Carolina, community since 1975. He is past president of the Brunswick County Bar Association, a former member of the Real Property Section Counsel of the North Carolina Bar Association and a Board Certified Specialist in Real Property Law, Residential Transactions by the North Carolina State Bar Board of Legal Specialization.

was born in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, August 14, 1974. Before attending law school, Ms. Smithwick taught Spanish and English as a Second Language for Brunswick County Schools. Prior to returning to her native Brunswick County, Ms. Smithwick practiced immigration law in Charlotte, NC.
